On a Saturday afternoon I discovered water dripping down from my ceiling. I called Chris and he was literally at my house within 20 min! Fixed the clogged drain in laundry room and gave some advice on my hot water heater. I trusted what he had to say and I'll definitely keep his card and recommend him to anyine!!

We had to bother Chris at 830 on a Friday night when we were panicked because the handle had completely broken off from our tub. There was water shooting out of where the cartridge connected to the pipes and we were concerned we were create a bigger problem fixing it ourselves. This review is long overdue. Chris and Brandon were wonderful! My hot water heater went out in the am. Chris worked with my work schedule to inspect the problem. He came that night after I came home from work at 5pm and determined the water heater needed to be replaced. No surprise to me since it was 15+ years old. Chris worked a miracle and was able to get the pilot lit so I could have a warm shower in the AM. They came back the very next morning and installed the heater. In my 40 years on earth, I have used 4 or 5 different plumbers with unimpressive results in most cases.

It all changed this past weekend when water fell from the sky, the basement flooded, and I once again had to begrudgingly hire a plumber.

I found and called Ludwig Family Plumbing. Chris came a few hours later, replaced the pump with impressive skill and a super friendly attitude. I don't know if he really loved every moment of toiling away in our musty basement, but if he didn't, he sure didn't let on.

Chris is a pro. He knows what to do, and hell do it right the first time. He has done several plumbing jobs for us from replacing a faucet to relocating a drain in the basement (jackhammers and concrete), and a bunch in between. He always makes me feel as if my jobs are important no matter how big or small, and he finds ways to flex his schedule to get to our jobs ASAP. There is no nonsense with Chris. He quotes the job, and that is what you pay, barring any huge surprise when he is in the wall or floor or yard of course (and that certainly can happen in plumbing). My overall experience with Ludwig was fantastic! Chris came over to my house extremely last minute, when our basement, and the carpet was drenched with water due to freezing pipes. Not only did Chris do an exceptional job taking the time to evaluate the issue inside and out, but he took the time discussing the problem with us. It had lasted for another two years while it continued to make the popcorn noises that it had always made since I'd moved into the property. Every pipe in our basement was leaking and our floor drain in the laundry room was gushing out water! I was freaking out!!
